Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Review & Swatches

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Review & Swatches

Today’s month post I’m conking out to start with Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Review & Swatches. I’ve been waiting for this liquid lipstick to get here and now here it is. Finally, I could able to share my thoughts about this babies with you love(s). πŸ™‚

Colourpop is known to sell wallet friendly cosmetics ranging from 6$ and above. While trends come and go, they won’t stay left behind. With their matte lipstick, I can say that I can sample the latest trends without breaking the bank. Because of that, I bought 6 different shades of their ultra matte lip and 2 shades of their ultra satin lip with a good deal.

APPLICATION:

First thing first, I use lip balm to moisturize my lips then I will finish the rest of my makeup routine. After that, I will remove the lip balm by squeezing it with a cotton bud making sure that my lips will moisturize and exfoliated. Then I will put on Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in any shades that I want to wear on the day.

Every time I do this way, the lipstick lasts very long like up to 8 to 12 hours wearing time. (No Oily Food)

The application is quite easy, it glides on lips smoothly leaving a super intense pigment with a really light feeling. It dries quickly like an ultra matte look. I like it because it is kissproof and it doesn’t bleed.

REMOVAL:

Since this dries quick matte it always takes time to remove with just water or even makeup remover, so a cleansing oil will definitely work. What I did is to top it off with cleansing oil and a lip balm, then I will wipe it with a cotton pad or wipes.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Swatches

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Review & Swatches:

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Viper

In the shade, VIPER: This is my favourite ultra matte lip with a touch of true dusty rose. It’s a perfect wear on a date with your love ones. πŸ™‚

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Trap

Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Trap: This one looks like a purple greiged nude shade. It looks more stunning when you have a very fair skin. I noticed that this shade turns to little darker when worn.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Time Square

Time Square Ultra Matte Lip: Colourpop says its a muted pink, beige that never sleeps. For me, it looks too light as nude but it’s perfect for Asian skin tone. I used to wear this every day when I prefer nude shade.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip CHI

CHI of Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip is also a nude shade which looks similar of the Time Square but is lighter a bit. It looks darker on the tube and when worn, among of all the colours that I have CHI is the worst. Even I exfoliate before I apply, this shade always crumbles and flake.

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Are N Be

ARE N Be, are you ready to be fabulous in this rich mauve Ultra Matte Lip? YES. So this is how they get the name of the shade. Nice, huh! Again, it also looks different from the picture from the colourpop website. This one looks dark purple on the lips and it’s totally different from their site. I like the formula, though, because it last very long!

ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip Love Bug

LOVE BUG, is looks rich mahogany perfect for dates. I’m loving it because I got complimented every time I wear this lippie. The formula is quite good and also last very long. LOVE IT!
