SASSY COLORS CC CREAM REVIEW – HEALTHY GLOW
It’s been a couple of weeks, I’ve been doing a no makeup routine on a daily basis. I LOVE MAKEUP but I felt like they don’t like me because every time I opt to put on makeup like always it’s so frustrating, I always get a breakout the other day. I clean all my makeup tools though. No matter how I cleanse before bedtime. Still struggling.
Thus, today, I won’t be using a foundation temporarily because I will let my pimple scars lighten first before going back to the foundation routine. Well, I think a CC cream is a good makeup base though since it has loaded with skin care benefits. I have tried looking for a sample size and I found this Sassy Colors Healthy Glow CC Cream as an option. I bought one to try and it cost only P35 pesos. Hmm, not bad for a small 5g sachet trial pack.
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
MY EXPERIENCE: My only concern is the pimple marks and dark spots on my face so I was expecting it has a good coverage because the consistency is a little bit thick. It’s not that super thick because it blended with my skin smoothly like a velvety finish. I used STYLENANDA BACK TO BABY PORE VELVET primer on the left side to compare from the other side using only the CC CREAM. They’re both the same consistency, but the one that has primer looks more radiant and glow. Hence, I think this CC CREAM is also beneficial as a primer for oily skin.
I wasn’t able to test it outside the house so I’m not certain if it can survive the heat under the sun. Oh, by the way, I have oily and sweaty skin and I’m impressed because it didn’t oil up fast, it did, but after almost 5 hours with just a minimal oil on my blotting sheet. I already tried using BB Cream of iWhite Korea and it starts to build up after only 2 hours which did not happen with this CC Cream.
The only downside part of this product is that it doesn’t have coverage. You see guys, it didn’t hide my skin imperfection especially pimple marks, dark spots. It did cover the lighter marks, only not those dark ones. It functions on my large pores though. I think a concealer will help if you prefer more coverage.
I don’t know if the other claims are true, especially those skins lightening because maybe it will take effect if I have to use it regularly.
Overall, this CC Cream is good for oily skin type. It doesn’t feel heavy and I think I’m starting to use it as primer next time since it has no coverage at all. I like this product compare to the CC cushion, but their performance was almost similar. Besides, I highly recommended to those who don’t have much skin problems or nothing much to cover. If you choose just a minimal makeup. This is really useful for you.
